I am very grateful to have had Dr Richard take charge of my medication titration. His friendly nature makes him easy to speak to and I felt listened to each and every time.

Fantastic care. Communication was great and I felt very listened to. This was a great benefit to how I transitioned to my medication. I am very happy with the treatment I received and have seen a massive improvement in my quality of life. I highly recommend Dr Richard.

Dr Mellor assessed me for ADHD at the age of 29. He read through my self assessment reports thoroughly before seeing me and was very kind during my assessment. He explained the process clearly and listened to all of my concerns with kindness. He diagnosed me with compassion and made sure to ask how I felt and that I understood what a provisional diagnosis was and what the next steps would be. Since then, he has undertaken my titration for ADHD medication and has worked with me rather than telling me what to do. He responds promptly to any messages, and is always very polite. He has made me feel like an active participant in my care rather than just a patient and I couldn't recommend him any more, he really has been fab.

Dr Richard Mellor is wonderful. He is personable, warm, caring and clever. Exactly the attributes you would wish for to make a great doctor. If you are hesitating over who to choose and reading different profiles, as I was, you can be confident in choosing him as a caregiver. He was thorough and took his time to understand me and consider whether a preliminary ADHD diagnosis was for me. He provided me with options for continuing care and I didn't feel pressured in choosing any pathway in particular. If you are nervous about speaking to a Dr about ADHD, as I was, you needn't be with Dr Richard - he shall put you at ease and give you room to explain yourself. I look to the future with optimism as to how I can now move forward under his care.

I was relieved to be seen by Dr Richard Mellor for an ADHD assessment, I felt he pitched the assessment at the right pace for me and I was impressed by his different solutions to the software problems I had on my PC on the day. I found the assessment detailed and it was good to have a range of topics covered really efficiently as I wanted to make the most out of the appointment. As a mental health professional myself I rated his approach highly. I have yet to start treatment but I am left optimistic that this will also be a helpful experience.
